MORNING’S GLORY
She has been tattered and torn, yet her Spirit unbroken;
These Stars and Stripes, they never run!
Her destiny of greatness was sealed before
The first Star in Her majestic fabric was spun!
Through seasons of war and peace alike,
Thy patriots of valor have served thee,
Guarding our shores, and protecting our seas,
From dangers both sight and unseen!
Never a nation born, so blessed and highly favored
Always victorious in freedom’s fight!
We guard the day, each corner of the globe,
Strengthened in our Savior’s might!
The enemies change, but each ending the same;
The Eagle’s talon perched upon it’s prey!
And, oh what a sight…
Stars and Stripes burning bright,
Welcoming a new day and another…
