FOR YOU
For you He became flesh and came to this earth;
He had one purpose in mind, to give you new birth.
For you He did wondrous acts, things the mind could not conceive;
He gave of himself freely, that in your heart you might believe.
For you He was a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief;
He was burdened by your sins and by your unbelief.
For you He was condemned to die, not willing that you should be lost;
He died for you; your sins nailed him to the cross.
But for you there is more, because he arose from the grave;
All this was done so that you could be saved.
Now He is standing at the door of your heart, wanting to be your friend;
Can you not hear him knocking, waiting to be let in?
Open the door to Him, please; that is all you have to do;
Say yes to his sacrifice, for He gave his life for you!
Have faith in Him, and your sins you confess,
O blessed child of God, your soul will now find rest.
We wrote this poem for Easter Sunday, but this poem is the gospel message and is perfect to share the gospel at any time to anybody. Print it, frame it if desired, and then hang it in places where those who need to hear the gospel will see it. This is a great way to witness without having to say a word. Hang it in your home, office, place of business, dorm room, or even pin it on a bulletin board.

We also created this video that you can share on your social media platforms to share the gospel with your family and friends.
This design is also used on the cover of gospel tract journals we have available on Amazon here, or see all of our books here.
